Buzzfeed is a word that usually signals the beginning of the end of productivity for college students everywhere. (This includes me.) However, Buzzfeed has a new meaning for me. Besides producing other ideas and projects, such as CAPtivate! (which is still accepting applicants, yet another shameless plug!), I’ve gotten the chance to make my very first Buzzfeed list. Yep! That’s right. I sat at work and made a Buzzfeed list. **commencing jealousy in 3-2-1**
Making the list was so much fun because I was able to use my personal experiences of being a foreigner trying to navigate Shanghai. The post is called '7 Ways To Hack Shanghai As a Poor College Student.' You should check it out here: www.buzzfeed.com/educatrium/7-ways-to-hack-shanghai-as-a-poor-college-student-1n4fg. (yes! Another shameless plug!] I think you’ll like it. Make sure to pay special attention to #1 because I made that gif. It’s my very first one and it’s going on my very first Buzzfeed list.
I’m so glad that I’ve taken this internship. It has allowed me to push myself to the very cusp of my creativity. I’m constantly thinking and creating new ideas to implement. Some of them have been great successes [i.e. CAPtivate! ;) ] and others not so much (Edventurer of the Week, never heard of it have you), but through it all I’ve gotten the chance to improve myself both personally and professionally.
