These folks rock! Without them, I would be forever lost and hungry in the city. Besides their practical usefulness that is necessary for daily well-being, they are a constant source of entertainment. We connect over everything—food, school, movies, life, you name it. Laughter is never in short supply when they’re around.
Jet lag is the absolute worse. I wake up at 4:30am everyday but promptly will myself back to sleep by 4:45am. The time difference between China and America is the greatest challenge, especially when I miss my family. However, I know they’re fine and they know I’m on an adventure.
So by now, you’ve figured that just about everything here in Shanghai is amazing, including my job. I absolutely love being a part of the market development team.
